Oh i also want my own scuba gear since i'm getting certified :)

Day #12 Something you've bought recently

Well... recently I found a new store that I like... Express. Who knew I would like their stuff but I do and they've recently had a huge sale so I went there. I got two scarfs, shoes, two shirts, and a dress for about $40! Talk about a steal! I was so excited.

That's my most recent purchase. I love clothes. :)

Day #9: Pet Peeves

Ok... the list could go forever so I will list a few....

1) A dirty kitchen

2) When girls wear only leggings and nothing over them. I think it looks so tacky

3) People who are unaware of others or who are just idiots

4) People who complain but are not willing to change stuff to make their situation better

5) People who are plain lazy

6) When my closet is not color coordinated.

7) Not using a blinker when turning

8) When people complain about someone else but do the exact same thing as them

9) A dirty desk at work... i have to keep it clean and organized

10)A cluttered e-mail inbox. I have to have mine organized.

I created this blog when I went to college and I wanted it to have a fun name. This blog is all about my life so "Story of My Life" just seemed to fit. There is no other explanation for it. haha

Oh this is so hard. I love music... i listen to music all day almost :) favorites.... hm.... well my current obsession is with The Band Perry and their songs Independence and Hip to my Heart. Its a country band and she is awesome!

The other band/ songs i love are 80's such as Journey, Styx, Queen, etc.

SNOW in April???

So this year is my first year staying in Utah for the spring/summer. I've always been told about the amazing weather and all the fun you have, no one told me that it would be -8 c the last day of April!

This is me and my new best friend T. We saw it was snowing and decided to go on a walk at like 12:00 at night and the sign behind us does say -8c. haha It was crazy!

What a SUITE game!

This weekend BYU Rugby played in the Wasatch Cup against the Utes. Lets just say I am good friends with a few rugby players and so Me and M decided we wanted to go. Turns out they had a "Rugby Rant" video competition going on to win a suite to the game (the game was in the Salt Lake Real stadium) Well there was one video in the competition earlier this week and it was two Utes. So we decided to enter!

So we entered and to win we had to post it on Facebook and get more people to "like" ours then the other video. Guess what!? We did it! We got a whoppin 151 "likes" and the other video... well.... a whole 53 votes!

We blew them out of the park! It was great! So we got a suite for 15 fans to watch. We invited a group of people and also one of the player's family to join us. Here are some pictures of the suite and this epic event.

By the way.... Rugby is officially one of my favorite sports now! I love it!!!!

Inspiration....

So a good friend of mine posted her blog on facebook today and I realized that I haven't posted in.... months! Oops... Well here is a small update. I don't know if I mentioned it or not but I changed my major to Recreational Management and my class last week went cross country skiing! What a great class! What else.... I registered as a volunteer for Special Olympics this summer, I am stoked to be able to work with all of these amazing athletes!

Oh like my mom I should probably do a mini health update :) For me a lot is focused on my knee, two weeks ago I got a cortisone shot and is that stuff weird or what! It made my entire knee numb... I couldn't really walk! It was a weird feeling. Anyways, they said that was suppose to help but, of course, it didn't! So I go back on Monday and we'll see what the doc says from there.

Another thing, I got two new roommates this semester. One is great and we are going to live together again next year, one.... is a little more difficult. She is from Florida and compared to the rest of us, she has a completely different living style. Its been very difficult and definitely a learning experience. For the most part we are kind to one another but she seems to have an attitude of she does what she wants no matter what any one says. Which doesn't work when you are living in student housing with three other girls!

On a happy note, we had a stake luau this week and below are a few pics of the three roommates that get along :) It was fun and we learned how to hula a little. It reminded me of my trip to Hawaii with my family in 2007. Fun times!
