I suck at this blogging thing!

So life has been crazy up here. I have been keeping busy with school, work, church calling, friends, and i have been getting involved on campus as well. Lets start with school, man classes are hard i had a midterm last week that i studied at least 10 hours for! AH! I threatened my mom that if i did not do good on that midterm i was dropping out of college! Well, i actually got the highest score in the class so im staying in college. Its amazing how studying for so long actually works! Lets see, along with my normal classes i am a member of the Student Advisory Council which is a fun but time concuming class. Its pretty awesome we are going on a retreat this weekend so i will post when i get back from that to give more details. Um, work is going good. I have a lot more responsibility working on not only normal work stuff but i am in charge of the christmas conference this year which is a lot more to handle. its going to get crazy here real soon! And finally my calling. I am the activities co-chair and let me tell you its not as easy as people think! :) i love my calling it is so much fun but man its a lot of work. Well i probably make it more work than it really is but still there is a lot to do! But mu co-chair is awesome which is good and we have some great people on out committee which is even better! Well thats a breif summary of what is going on ill try to get some pictures up soon!

New Apartment and School Year!

So i haven't been on in a long long time but after my knee surgery this summer and staying home partying! :) i am finally back up in the beautiful provo Utah! This year i moved in with my oldest friend mimi! We moved to these new apartments SE of campus. We have two roommates who attend UVU which is north of BYU. But one of their moms is an interior designer so she kinda helped out with the decorating.... so here is our pad! (did i mention that me and mimi got the biggest and best room in the entire apartment complex, and i'm for real people fight for this room! :)

Florida, Disneyworld, the beach... and NO SNOW!

So for the past few months me and Rima have been planning our trip to Florida! Her previous room mate and our friends Chelsea actually works there, she is "friends with Tinkerbell" hehe i'll let you take a guess at what that means. Anyways she was able to get us in for free so we flew out there for five days to hang with her. We went to the beach for two days and then to disney for two days. It was so nice in the 80s and 90s the whole weekend and there was no snow. In Provo that weekend they had a horrible snow storm which we missed! Thank goodness. One day at Disney it rained in the morning so we through on some hats and panchos and were on our way! :)

One other cool thing is we hung out wiht the guy who is "friends with peter pan". Ps this whole friends with thing means they are that character they are just no suppose to say that technically! oops! :)

The 24 Hour Rush to Rushmore

I'm sure your reading this and are thinking what in the world?? Well, last weekend me and three of my girl friends decided that we wanted to go to Mount Ruchmore. None of us have seen it and we all wanted too. (also it was only ten hours away and that was probably the closest any of us will ever live to South Dakota). Truth be told we have actually been discussing this for a few weeks now but we all wanted it to be very random and spontaneous. Well that is exactly how it happend. Last Saturday while we were having a late night "study party" (like we were actually studying) we decided to get in the car and drive to Mount Rushmore, mind you it was 12:30 AM!!!! so technically we left sunday morning! :) We drove all night and morning through Wyoming, which is the most boring state ever i have never seen so many cows in my life, and part way through South Dakota and around 11 am we were there! Yep, thats right we went there and got ready in the parking lot so we would look good in the pictures. (typical girls)! We stayed for about two hours hoped back in the car and drove home. We made it back in provo at 12:30am monday morning exactly 24 hours!!!! Wow we are crazy!

It got really cold as we started hiking so we grabbed our blankets and hiked around in them we made some people laugh it was awesome!

Ah Life!!!!

Ok... so I finally woke up today. It hit me that all of my guys back home are leaving! What is this!!!!! I saw pictures of Alex at the MTC and now I heard Andrew is going to Honduras (congrats by the way) but still more of my guys are filling out mission papers and it is so weird! I didn't expect this, I feel happy, sad, and joyful all at the same time. I mean these boys i have grown up with are all going to be gone for two years! That is a really really long time! So much can change from now till then and with me being up in Utah how many of them are going to leave before i get to see them again! I am missing their farewells and mission call openings and everything. There are a few people at BYU opening there mission calls but still its not the same these are my guys, my friends, and most practically my brothers! It is so weird to think when they get back how much they are going to change, how much i am going to change and how much life is going to change for all i know i could be engaged or something... Ah OK never mind i just scared myself with that thought! Any ways i guess this whole post is about how I realize how fast time flies, and how we are all growing up and changing. Seriously i am still trying to accept the fact that these boys are going to be living on their own, cooking cleaning and taking care of themselves! YIKES! they can't do that!Especially some of them in a foreign country, dang they are growing up too fast! :) (OK i feel like their mothers but seriously its just too weird!) today has just been a weird day i guess i realized that i have a lot of writing ahead of me! Dang with over 10 guys or so leaving this year i am going to be busy! Good luck to all of them and i know that they will do great! My North Canyon guys are the best and I am so glad to have had the opportunity to grow up with these guys, from joy school, to middle school, to high school, and now college we have been through everything! Ah this is just too weird!!!!! Congrats all of you for going out into the world and making a difference in peoples lives i know you will succeed!!

Snowboarding!

So i finally did it... i went snowboarding! And it was amazing!!!!!!!! Me and Rima have a friends jessica who is like an expert snowboarder and she offered to teach us how to do it and if i do say so myself we were amazing. I only rolled down the mountain once. And when i say rolled i am serious i face planted and somersalted down the mountain it was hilarious!!!!! I am ok though no scratchs or brusies my face was cold and a little numb but i survived and had such a fun time. I have found my new winter time activity!

What do you do on your weekends????

Well to answer that question for myself.... I stalk celebrities!!! No I promise that is no type-o I really did this weekend.... how did i manage such a task and who did i see well that is exactly why i am making a post to tell you all about it! This weekend was the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah ( yes it is in park city and it is called sundance but nevermind that). Anywho.... we spent all day following celebrities and taking picture of them/ with them. Here is who we saw....

Well first there is us in front of the red carpet sundance backdrop!

To start the day we ran into some random fella who is in a band but i dont know who he is.....

Then we continued our journey see a few other people like nick cannon and some guy who dated a girl from the Hills don't know him either :) And then some peeps from MTV's the Real World.

After that we saw Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite, and Ashley Judd... she was really sweet!

Finally to top it off we ran into the oh so famous (and not necessarily in a good way) Give it up for PARIS HILTON! I know these are not the best pictures but we were running with the paparazzi to get these! it was a blast!

To end the day we went and got a Got Milk add done they were doing them to promote milk drinking so we got the milk mustaches on and everything!

Christmas in Arizona!

For Christmas this year I got a new camera and it is pink! I love it. It is so fast and works really good. So of course I went a little picture crazy... who wouldn't?

He is my dad with his mountain dew attire and my bro got an x-box 360 so he was busy with that all day we cant get him off of it! Then my lil sister got a globe that when you put it in the dark it lights up with the constellations.

Then older sister got some books and lots of clothes which is funny cause normally her books outnumber he clothing but not this year! And mom got lots of fun stuff but this is a picture or her blogging!

And then who could forget the cute Sage and Kibbles and all their Christmas joy! But they both have creepy eyes! hehe
